Stayzilla co-founder Yogendra Vasupal arrested

Co-founder of Chennai- based homestay booking startup Stayzilla, Yogendra Vasupal has been arrested by the police on charges of non-payment of dues claimed by an advertising agency that the company worked with.

Recently Stayzilla suspends operation to come with new business model.

Vasupal’s wife and co-founder of Stayzilla, Rupal Yogendra alleged that she and her family were being threatened by the owner of this advertising agency.

Vasupal was questioned by a team led by Chennai’s assistant commissioner of police S Muthuvel Pandi and inspector Anand Babu of the entrustment fraud wing of the Central City Crime branch.
