MarketsandMarkets raised Rs 367 crore funding

Research and consultancy firm MarketsandMarkets has raised $56 million (about Rs 367 crore) by selling a minority stake. The investors are venture capital and private equity firm FTV Capital, Zodius Capital etc.

As a part of the deal, FTV Capital managing partner Brad Bernstein will join the company’s board. Avendus Capital was the exclusive advisor to the deal.

MarketsandMarkets which was founded by Sandeep Sugla and Aman Gupta in 2010 provides customised research focused on high-growth and niche markets to 80% of Fortune 1,000 companies, and has clients in 12 industry verticals. It has clients like IBM, Cisco, HP, BASF, Siemens, Ford, Bosch, Thermo Fisher, among others as its clients.
