Uber Opened First Engineering centre in Bangalore

Popular Cab service provider Uber has setup its first engineering centre in Bangalore, India. It is the first centre in all over Asia. It aims to fix problems and create solutions to issues like low connectivity, estimated time of arrival (ETA), traffic congestion, demand prediction and others.

Currently it has 8 engineers but the centre has the scope to hire hundreds more in future.

Uber CTO Thuan Pham said, The initial mission and objective of the engineering team here is to drive the level of world class experience that we want to provide through our high-end technology and service platform.

The company now has three engineering centres in the US, three in Europe and one in India.
