Smaaash Entertainment co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar to raise Rs 200 crore

Smaaash Entertainment which is co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar is all set to raise Rs 200 crore from private equity investors. Smaaash Entertainment is a virtual reality gaming and entertainment.

Smaaash Entertainmentfounder Shripal Morakhia said the funding may be by the second quarter of the current calendar year. Smaaash, which has followed a business model of setting up sports-based entertainment centres in the country, is in the process of expanding its existing centre in Minneapolis, USA, besides setting up new ones in Dubai and Saudi Arabia by mid-year.

Smaaash has an existing presence in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Noida and Ludhiana, besides the United States.
